O grupo de pulverizações é o que tem maior possibilidade de perda devido a fatores climáticos, erros de operação e outros. Considerando estas variáveis elencamos os motivos e seu percentual de perdas:

- Qualidade da água (pH e minerais) - 30%
- Equipamentos de aplicação - 35%
- Estresse da planta - 40%
- Deriva (vento e evaporação) - 45%
- Chuva - 100%
